Arranging with Spring Perrenials

Arranging with Spring Perrenials

Saturday, June 4th

Hardy perennials and shrubs are some of the best investments in the garden. Once established, they come back bigger and better every year. Farmer’s Daughter Nursery in South Kingstown, RI has some of the largest and most diverse selections of shrubs and perennial plants in RI. They grow many plants on site and also obtain plants from quality growers throughout New England.

In this 2-hour workshop you’ll tour the display gardens with instructor Laura Seita, owner of Fig & Squill and learn which hardy plants that are good to cut from. You’ll create your own garden arrangement in the newly renovated barn on-site that includes the discussed plants which have been cut from the garden.

Before or after class, feel free to wander the many greenhouses, gardens and visit the farm animals on-site. Materials, instruction and light refreshments are included.

When: June 4th, 10:30am – 12:00pm
